Many Florida Registered Environmental Professionals extend their educational credentials by earning certifications offered by scientific or professional associations. In this way, a person educated as a biologist may be eligible for registration as a Systems Manager through certification as a Professional Ecologist, Wetlands Scientist, or Lake Manager. EPF also knows that some certifications are based more on paying the fee than in any real qualifications. EPF recognizes only those with strict criteria.
